Zoltan is a Director of Photography working between Budapest and Southeast Asia. Commercials — packshot, beauty, lifestyle — music videos, documentary, and — lately — generative video pipelines.
I shoot pictures for a living. Before the camera, I came up through lighting — gaffer on international commercials and music videos, with a foot in the rental business. The camera came later. The light came first.
The work has been spread between places — Sài Gòn as a regional base, with shoots in Manila, Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok. The Middle East joined the rotation for a stretch: Cairo, Beirut, Kuwait City. Budapest as the home anchor.
Mostly commercials — packshot, beauty, lifestyle — with music videos and documentary work in steady rotation. Lately, also: generative video pipelines — Wan 2.2, LTX, Gaussian Splatting — used as serious tools rather than toys.
I prefer slow light, real locations, and a small crew that knows what it is doing.
